  • Flywheel training, also known as eccentric training or inertia-based training, is slowly being recognized as a cutting-edge technological breakthrough in sports science. Users generate constant motion, not only in the upward motion - creating a uniquely impactful exercise experience.

  • While regular lifting can place a burden on joints and cause muscular dealignment that needs to be constantly addressed, flywheel training is a consistent weightlifting exercise which seriously minimizes the risk of injury while providing real-time feedback that enables users to achieve peak performance.

Flywheel Training is suitable for absolutely any age. Especially people 50+ years old. 🔌

⚡️ Impaired or limited movement ability due to injury and mobility issues: the use of the flywheels functions as rehabilitation while simultaneously strengthening and stretching the tissues.

⚡️ Pain from injury: the rehabilitative properties of the flywheels encourages healing, which can contribute to pain reduction from injury.

⚡️Poor overall wellness and fitness ability: The addition of flywheel and resistance training to routine habits contributes greatly to overall wellbeing, and improvement in quality of life and healthfulness. Our packages

  • Single pass

    • Focus on small, 10-person classes using Desmotec flywheel equipment

    • These high-intensity, 60-minute classes are uniquely suited to the real-time feedback of flywheel training.

    • Drop in at any of 3 daily eccentric training sessions

  • Monthly memberships

    • We offer monthly memberships for several classes per week (either one class, two classes or three classes per week)

    • These high-intensity, 60-minute classes are uniquely suited to the real-time feedback of flywheel training.

  • Additional services

    • We offer body assessments and sports therapy to address specific injuries with progressive training programs.

    • We offer 1-on-1 personal training sessions, with a free consultation for first time visits

    • Semi-private classes are also available

Who is Pyram

Jeanavos Pyram is an experienced certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor with a decade of fitness training experience. His diverse training background includes working with athletes, students, and older adults across several gyms and fitness clubs such as YMCA, McGill gym, and bootcamps. He has a wealth of experience running both personal and group training exercises and classes. Studio Pyram will be based on utilizing his specialized skill set with teaching classes and building innovative eccentric training regimens for his personal training customers.
